Ok...

That last picture was way too big. But I will not apologize or admit fault. I am allowed to be proud of things darn it. Tomorrow I will get back to telling you why I hate you, but right now I'm going to be happy for a little bit. I'm sure you can deal with it. We're all adults here. Also: If you are not an adult, get off the internet, it's almost Christmas. Go look in your parents' closets for your presents or something.

  1. So I don't see a 'contact me' around here, but I'd like to pick at your expertise (ish).

I was driving to a three way intersection, I was the one driving toward the dead end. I was going to make a left, and there was someone on my left at the stop sign. He got to a full stop at the sign about 5 seconds before I got there. I got there, got to a complete stop, and he still hadn't moved (so he's been sitting there for ~ten seconds total). At this point, if we'd both gotten to the stop sign at the same time, 100% it would have been his right of way. But I decided he wasn't going to move, so I just went for it. At the same time, he started to move. To avoid the both stop, both move, both stop pattern, I just kept moving and he stopped and honked his horn for the duration of my turn.

I think that even though I didn't wait AT the stop sign for him to move, he'd already lost his right of way by the time I'd gotten to a complete stop. He'd had enough time to go through the intersection twice by the time I'd even hit the stop sign, and he could have started going any time before I started going again. What's your opinion here?

  2. The stop and go dance is an American tradition! How dare you deny him this opportunity! I think the ideal move would have been to stop and wave him through. In lieu of that your option worked out alright. I rule that in this case I don't hate you.
